Happy Trout Pet Treats was founded by Brittany, a proud pet mom to two rescue dogs and 29 chickens. She is also the Operations Manager at Hudson Valley Fisheries, where she works with an incredible team to produce high-quality steelhead trout. Her passion for sustainable aquaculture and pet health led her to create our line of nutritious, responsibly sourced pet treats.

Many fisheries are overtaxed, making land-based aquaculture an essential step toward sustainability. Our fish are raised in a recirculating aquaculture system, eliminating concerns about:

We started Happy Trout Pet Treats with a simple idea—if Brittany trusted our fish for her own pets, we wanted other pet owners to have that same confidence. Our fish is 100% New York hatched, grown, harvested, processed, and packaged, ensuring full traceability and quality control.
